Education is a path that I have valued throughout my entire life. As a child, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. This journey that I am currently on is leading me down the path to achieving this life-long goal. How exciting! Though my path will not be complete following graduation from the Bachelor of Education program, I extend this goal further into the future. My goal is to be a life-long learner. I aim to be reflexive and dynamic with the times as the best way to teach continues to be updated, to change with research. I set this goal with the idea in mind that I will stay up to date with this research and bring these skills into my profession.
I have goals set for myself to pursue throughout my program and throughout my life. These goals are to continue to keep a positive outlook, to understand the need for grace and patience. I want to challenge myself to bring my interests into my teaching, to demonstrate values within my lessons. I will take these goals and consider them each day I enter the classroom, hoping that this will inspire my teaching to reach new potential.
